Marketing Project Manager

Job description

Love marketing, hate specialising? Ready to be our UK-focused behind-the-scenes genius, bringing together a group of creatives and technical specialists in a market that already knows and loves our brand? Want to move the needle for a company that does work that matters? Then we might just be your next adventure. At Famly, we’re looking for a Marketing Project Manager to help even more nurseries and parents find and fall in love with our Early Childhood Platform. You’ll help make various UK facing materials like website pages, digital ads and SoMe really shine, as well as helping to create sales presentations, organising events, managing our affiliate programme and a whole lot more.

You’ll join the team as one of three Project Managers and you’ll be the focusing solely on the UK. We’ll be doing a variety of different campaigns this coming year - some will work, others won’t. We’re a team who always take failures as learning moments, and we want someone who comes with the same mindset. Plus we’re more than happy to hug it out if one of your campaigns is just not all that. We think that’s perfectly okay, and it happens to us too.

With regards to location, we’d really love you to join Famly here at our Copenhagen HQ. If you're not here already, perhaps you're keen to move to the city that never rains? We can help you with relocating, getting a visa, and finding childcare (and a lot of new friends).

What you'll be doing

Our UK team is our biggest team within Famly with most working out of the HQ in Copenhagen. We need you on board to work closely with the UK sales and customer success teams to spread the word about Famly - and eventually increase our number of UK inbound leads.

What projects you’ll be expected to collaborate on and own:

  • Working with the Growth Marketing Manager (your team lead) to create acquisition strategies for the UK market, and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy.
  • Managing and supervising marketing projects from beginning to end.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with writers and graphic designers to create advertising content.
  • Work closely with the Performance Marketing and SEO Managers with the goal of increasing the number of MQLs.
  • Building and maintaining external vendor relationships for partner promotion.
  • Support the planning and execution of offline events to strengthen relationships with customers, and attract local prospects.
  • Source and negotiate the price of display ads, print ads and other offline advertising packages with both offline and online vendors.
  • Run and regularly analyse and report on performance of nurture campaigns, and locate opportunities for improvement and optimisation.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are from the UK yourself or have close ties to it

  • Have 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing

  • Have a metrics-driven approach

  • Have experience working with SoMe and digital advertising channels

  • Have experience working with modern CMS like Webflow

  • Have a basic understanding and willingness to experiment with common marketing tactics such as conversion rate optimisation, SEO and the like

  • Have an experimental growth mindset, and are always looking for new ways to improve

We appreciate that everyone brings something unique, so even if you don’t tick every box above, we’d still love to read your application.

You’ll love working at Famly because:

  • We’re all about hiring clever people who are good humans too. It means Famly is full of top thinkers and generous teammates waiting to help you shine.
  • We like to give a lot of ownership both in terms of responsibility and freedom to try new things. We’ll get you up and running and collaborate along the way, of course.
  • Flexible hours. We fit work around our lives - not the other way around. If you need to work different hours sometimes or take the day from home we trust you to do just that.
  • A big focus on people support with personal and career development, including leadership training in a wide-variety of topics.

At Copenhagen HQ, you can enjoy:

  • A yummy daily buffet and a well stocked drinks fridge (did someone say snack corner?)

  • Our private rooftop courtyard (sunny all year round, we promise…!)

  • Lots of team and company fun with dinners out, office BBQs, Friday bars, big quarterly social events, game nights, and more!

  • 25 days of annual holiday, on top of all those Danish bank-related holidays during the spring (and the other festive holidays, too!)

At this point, we’re sure you’re wondering who Famly are...?
Well it all began when our co-founder Henrik’s daughter was ready to start at daycare. He couldn’t believe the amount of work being done on paper - and how distant he felt from his first child during the day. The paper ‘parent’ books they exchanged once a month just weren’t cutting it. Together with his friend, our co-founder and CEO Anders, they set about solving that.

These days, the 140 of us building Famly talk about trying to do two things for our many customers across the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway and the US:

  • Giving children the best possible start to life.

  • Championing the vital work that goes into making that happen

We do it with software that brings hundreds of thousands of parents closer to their child’s day while they’re away from them. We also make financial, pedagogical, and planning tools for more than 34,000 childcare professionals, saving them hours and reducing their admin stress.

Ultimately, that gives them more time and headspace for the little ones that really matter. Come help us make that happen.

Interested? Let us know now :)

We're looking to fill the position as soon as possible, so get your application in today. This is what our interview process looks like:

  • Video conversation with People Partner

  • Logical test

  • Online interview with VP of Growth Marketing

  • Take home assignment

  • Final interview with VP of Growth Marketing and a couple of close team members

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Famly is committed to creating a more diverse, equal, and inclusive workforce, building teams that represent a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. It is a fundamental policy at Famly not to discriminate on any basis or characteristics and celebrate diversity. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply.
